Maureen Denise McCormick born 5th August 1956 Woodland Hills California, youngest daughter and sole child daughter of Richard McCormick. Her father worked as a school teacher and her mom was a stay at home mom. Michael Dennis and Kevin are three of her older brothers. McCormick began singing and performing in the early years of her life. At the age 6, McCormick won at the Baby Miss San Fernando Valley contest. Pat Domigan from the Jack Wormser Agency then called McCormick to inquire whether the actress was looking to pursue a career in showbusiness. McCormick was offered her first gig as a leading actress in 1964. McCormick was in an ad campaign for Mattels' newest doll Baby Pattaburp. Later that year she did another commercial for the companys Chatty Cathy doll and was later cast in the show The Wind It up and It breaks at the La Jolla Playhouse. The Brady Bunch McCormick, which was chosen out of 200 auditioned kids, played the oldest of three double-headed daughters in The Brady Bunch (1969) which starred Florence Henderson and Robert Reed. The show ran for five seasons and the show was a great success. In her memoir Heres the Story: Surviving Marcia Brady and Finding My True Voice which was published in 2008 McCormick disclosed that during the fifth season, she nearly lost her virginity to her onscreen brother and co-star Barry Williams. He was 19 years old. She was just 16. The woman said it might be possible, however we never had the right moment to make the decision.
